Atomic Heart is an action-adventure first-person story-driven shooter with RPG elements, set in the mad utopia of an alternate reality of 1955. Its story originates in the development of robotics and advanced technology during the Second World War. The game's world is not so far removed from the ideals that humanity is fighting for today in reality: a happy society, the supremacy of science, ideal cities with sun-drenched green parks and squares, the automation of everyday life, and the desire to reach the stars. But what happens if something suddenly goes wrong? What would something like this lead to in the real world?
Science, equality, and fraternity are the main symbols of freedom in this alternate reality, but what if we were to look at the underside of such an ideal world? What dark secrets might it be hiding? In the role of Special Agent P-3, your mission will be to find out what lies behind the system failure that led to the unleashing of a technological nightmare at Facility 3826, a fictional top-secret base built to manufacture robots. But know one thing: in Atomic Heart, the price of truth will be paid in blood, as the utopian dream is not what it seems.
The Kollektiv Neural Network, which controls and connects all flying and ground robots on the surface and in underground complexes into a single network, has been corrupted and started to attack all humans. If you're spotted, reinforcements will quickly arrive to eliminate you. To survive, take control of the Kollektiv's various network elements and try not to trigger the alarm.
You'll have to do a lot of fighting to find your way through this nightmare. Robots won't be your only enemies, as the unfolding chaos has also brought into existence deadly mutated creatures. To beat all the enemies, you'll have to get your hands on cutting-edge long-ranged and melee weapons and use the special abilities of your experimental glove that comes with an integrated polymer AI, CHAR-les. A wide range of upgrades for your arsenal and a combination of defensive and attacking skills will allow you to tear enemies to pieces!
